Starting Nov 2024, operating a vehicle with five prior suspensions for reckless or dangerous driving becomes a Class E felony.
Suspension triggers include:
- Causing serious injury or death
- Leaving scene of accident
- 3 speeding convictions in 18 months
- Drag racing
- 3 school bus passing convictions
- Cell phone use on probationary license
Penalties: up to 4 years in State Prison.
